I wouldn't be happy seeing Yankees-Red Sox again either in the Divisional round. Why did baseball need another wild card team anyways? What was wrong with 3 division winners and 1 wild card? That system seemed to work fine.

Well Brewers-Cubs series didn't happen so I guess all my complaining was for naught.

The reason they may be playing again is because now the playoff opponents are determined by seeding. The division winner with the best record is 1st seed and will play the wild card winner.
