I wouldn't be happy seeing Yankees-Red Sox again either in the Divisional round. Why did baseball need another wild card team anyways? What was wrong with 3 division winners and 1 wild card? That system seemed to work fine.

I dont know why they added a 2nd wild card team. I know that has been a pretty controversial point among fans.

Well Brewers-Cubs series didn't happen so I guess all my complaining was for naught.

But yea, Cubs really couldn't get a 2nd run despite having multiple opportunities.
