Honestly I prefer the other way around. Once things don't work out then friend circles get damaged and regular gatherings get disrupted because you don't want X and Y to be there at the same time. If you start out banging and then turn to friends then everything becomes a lot simpler. I lived with probably 6 different people during the time I was friends with that crazy girl and they all loved when I would have her over because the stories were never lame and no one was trying to bang her.
