Thing is that rather than empathy they turn to rebellion and comments encourage this.

Maybe because I am getting older I tend to review both sides before I make a decision, but Reddit is a good way to see the demographic of 15 to 30 year olds and prediction of behavior.

It's almost like going to a mall and watching people trying to predict behavior. Something the wife and I used to do often, but now we just watch LivePD and laugh.

Anyways just look at how these threads degenerate into a hug box.

Not with 20 year olds. I get wanting to keep an eye on your teenagers even, but once they are legal adults, and especially if they don't even live in your house anymore, you can't expect them to submit to surveillance like this.
