I'm one of those rare gems who don't fit in anywhere.

Then again, ain't we all?

I'm too liberal for the conservatives, too conservative for the liberals, too extreme for the moderates, too moderate for the extremists. The term "radical centrist" is a tad too radical for my tastes. I can't truly pick a side except my own, but I make a decent "devil's advocate" according to my high school Oral Comm teacher. And I probably have a bit of a messiah complex.

Not of organized religion, nor am I an atheist. Both seem pretentious to me. Rather, I see energy and matter as a fluid force, beyond our silly human concepts of science and religion. Nothing inherently wrong with scientific inquiry or religious observance, I simply refuse to believe the word of any animal can fully be trusted. And we humans are just another animal. We may think ourselves the superior species, but some cats and dogs may feel the same way.

Enough about me though.

My question(s):

Where does Phuks fit in between Rabble and Voat? I like the general format of Reddit-type sites, but the community itself never really appealed to me. Or rather, I never appealed to them, being myself and all. More importantly, how is the censorship/moderation on this site? I know I could just lurk around instead of asking all this, but making an account is easy enough, and this is a much better litmus taste for my purposes. Oops, I mean test. Test, not taste. Heh.

Most importantly of all:

Is this the right place to post this?

EDIT: I think it only polite to explain exactly why something is downvoted. Can't change bad behavior if you don't know what to change, y'know? I'm guessing it's the turnips.

Phuks mostly keeps away from politics, except for jokingly taking the piss out of crazy people, me shitposting in /s/Anarcho_Capitalism, and some remotely rare outbreaks of political conversations.

Probably the most 'censorship' (as far as I've observed) is s/news, and that's really just tagging some sketchy posts as misleading or something. Also, blatant spam or advertising gets downvoted. The TOS says we can't be racist or anything, but they haven't cracked down on people shouting the N word over in SDBH.

Don't be surprised if people give you shit for the Messiah complex. And that doesn't just go for Phuks, that's real life as well. Cut the crap and get real if you want people to take you seriously. It's genuinely something to be deeply ashamed of.

As far as fitting in here, that depends on how you answer this question. Broccoli or Cabbage?
