It's been a little over six months now and the hype has certainly died off. Anyone here still playing and want to brag about your stats?
Think I was to old when it originally came out. I had a housemate at some point, who was very much into it. but it never got my fancy.

Gotcha, I was just in the cusp of the target age when it came out, so I had a lot of slightly older friends that weren't into it.
I never really branched out into other animes. I watched a few other popular American bastardizations when I was younger like digimon and yugioh. But the only actual animes I've really enjoyed have been trigun and Akira.
I dunno, perhaps I haven't given many others much of a chance.

Akira is legendary, that movie blew my mind in the 80's.
If you are looking for a good series, I can advice Naruto. It's the best manga series I've seen.
