This does dive a bit into politics, but overall I've found crowd aggregated news feeds like newsvoice.com are pretty useful for removing bias from the daily news cycle. What's your thought on tools like this versus pulling news from reddit or similar sites (if that's what you're looking for anyway.)

The best way to remove bias is to have more news sources IMHO. Aggregators often tend to turn biased.

This. I was actually toying with the idea of a project where I'd get newsfeeds from outlets in the top 100 cities (by population) in the USA and aggregate it. It would take a ton of work, but the idea would be that you'd get all sides and have the ability to see the local version, which is more likely to be unbiased.

EDIT: Also globally, but I was starting "small" first.
