This does dive a bit into politics, but overall I've found crowd aggregated news feeds like newsvoice.com are pretty useful for removing bias from the daily news cycle. What's your thought on tools like this versus pulling news from reddit or similar sites (if that's what you're looking for anyway.)

I beg to differ in this case given that the headlines & summaries must stick to the facts and not present themselves with one slant or another, as the articles do that themselves. the following presents all user-submitted news articles from various political and continental perspectives (not shown: The summary & headline for this news thread, along with the comments section)
This. I was actually toying with the idea of a project where I'd get newsfeeds from outlets in the top 100 cities (by population) in the USA and aggregate it. It would take a ton of work, but the idea would be that you'd get all sides and have the ability to see the local version, which is more likely to be unbiased.
EDIT: Also globally, but I was starting "small" first.

So basically /s/news, but an entire site that has (((Google))) account integration and more posting restrictions?
Not a fan. Also kind of funny how this was posted on an account less than an hour old. Hmm.
Literally just made a new account after being gone for like 3 months.
Not a fan of the fact it requires a google account in the case of Newsvoice, but having viewpoint markers for each source is nice at least.
Crowd aggregation doesn't remove bias, and often causes it to fester.
