Bonus question, what is the best Reese's product?

Jif creamy is the way to go. Chunky is good now and then for sandwiches but creamy is really the way to go. Also, Skippy is the devil.

The Mini that come in the foil wrapper have the perfect chocolate-peanut butter ratio. The chocolate being just thick enough to provide a slight crunch before reaching that delicious peanut butter interior.

Anything low (or no) added sugar without too many weird ingredients like soy, or palm oil made from murdered orangutans.

you need those partially hydrogenated oils! how else will you keep your peanut butter always looking its best?

This thread has me thinking about casually mashing my own nuts - no need for all the other crap if its shelf life is going to be 3mins.

I know it's not what you mean but I buy raw peanuts every week and once you chew them well enough they taste just like peanut butter only better.

huh, doesn't look difficult, why have i never tried this?

Creamy or GTFO. I don't have a brand preference, though I've never been too fond of the texture of Skippy when I've had it. I usually just have Aldi/Save-A-Lot brand.

My favorite Reese's is the giant bars. Linked is a smaller one, but they make like 1-pounders in these. It's a great ratio for me as I love the chocolate. I don't like eggs a lot of the time, especially the bigger ones, because it's just too much peanut butter.

Question for you: How do you feel about mallow cups?

woah, weird, why have i never seen those mallow cups before? i need to hunt some of those down.

Boyer Candy may not be available in your area perhaps? I think it's national, though. I also like their peanut butter cups. They're different, a smoother and creamier peanut butter compared to Reese's. Also cheaper.

i've had a number of off brand peanut butter cups before so i may have had those before but personally i think the stiff, sugary reese's peanut butter is the way to go. i'm not a fan of gooey candy.

I prefer almond butter over peanut butter. Preferably the no sugar added and mix in oil yourself.

disagree but i'll concede that cashew butter is better than peanut butter

I never tried cashew butter. I might give that a shot next time I need some nut butter

i've heard of peanut butter brews before but always figured they would be terrible, is it actually good?
