Yeah, I get your worries too - I watch their videos to amuse myself... and sometimes I struggle to remember that I've been around the world, like literally more than a few times. Sure, I've not been in space, but damn, it would seem like an awful lot of work to fake a spherical planet for no apparent reason.
That is the best point! What is the damned purpose of the flat earth hoax? Why keep that from us? Its not like we could do anything with that information. So the world is flat, how is that going to change anything we do or think?
I mean, if I was a malevolent ruler of the planet looking to amuse myself with the ignorance of the masses, I can imagine doing something similar, but would even the most malevolent, omnipotent ruler be able to keep that particular line of thinking going for more than a few generations?
I guess I will never know, for sure. Colour me 'undecided'...
For shits and giggles I watch a lot of flat earth videos. It is astounding to see how far down the rabbit hole some of these people go. Such crazy assumptions and random connections lol. I've gotta be careful though, I think I'm starting to self-indoctrinate. Some of the points they make man...especially about ancient history. IDK man!
