I don't think I ever saw this place mentioned during the downtime last week.
I honestly don't know. I'm definitely not enjoying Voat as much lately as I used to.
The brigading happening to users questioning loyalty to Putt is also concerning.
Above all though, the few days of down time made me realise that Voat might not be around forever and that I should look for "bomb-shelters" in case it gets completely nuked.

All good points. I left mostly due to the negativity. In my mind there's nothing wrong with a healthy daily dose of racism, but focusing on the things you hate 24/7 is just masochistic. As soon as the good posters started jumping ship, the hate just became overwhelming and I jumped too.
Anyway. I'm pretty new here myself, but welcome to Phuks regardless. It's a good site. Let's both try and keep it that way :)

So I'm curious, are you giving up on voat, or just stopping by out of curiosity? If you are leaving voat, what finally made up your mind?
