I had the mcdicks fish o fillet for lunch and felt bloated like crazy... salmon and fettuccini alfredo with clams for supper... but man... Mcdicks is aweful. I think that's the last time. Only bought it because it's the only fast food fish.

I went to Souplantation and had a salad bar buffet with soup. I had to move into a hotel yesterday because the construction company fucked up and the water in the condo I'll renting is now turned off indefinitely, and that place is the closest thing to the hotel for food besides Taco Bell.
I honestly can't even remember if I ate lunch because I lost water around noon
Salad bars are cool! stuff you can't make at home easily! and ughhhh Taco bell is a chain dive... I buy it once and again because they're banned in my hometown upnorth for the beef quality... no joke! scarcity creates interest so I still get it once and a while but BHEEEE bad food. I regret it immediately
I still get it every now and then and then get sad when I'm eating it. I have fond memories of it from when I was a kid and that gives me the urge sometimes, but yeah...ugh.
That's kind of hilarious that they're banned. It has to be better quality meat than most pet food I would assume
I had an eight course meal. Maple deer sausage, a mashed baked potato and a six pack. About to get a good night's sleep. Had a good day.
I love deer sausage... Was it artificial casing or did they/you use the deer's? I buy it at the farmers market in the summer. Maybe not the right day unless you aren't a Catholic but that's A OK in my books we're all just people anyways.
All natural from the same deer from this last season. The processor guy we use is great and uses everything. No cross contamination. He's been doing our cows, deer, and pigs, since I can remember.
The meat thing on this fridays during lent is a weird one for me. I was raised Catholic (and school) and did all the steps growing up, but I never really saw wild animals as part of the restriction. I see fish and game as wild vs the normal husbandry animals that were easy meat. Part of lent is giving up the luxuries. I see having to go fishing and hunting as hard work within nature, while beef, lamb, chickens are easy luxury animals that we raise. I've talked to a few priests about it, and some like it, and some don't.
edit: Curveball - I also don't eat eggs, eat cheese, or drink milk on lent fridays even though it's not meat. I still see it as a luxury animal product.
I wanted to eat something really uncatholic, but then it turned out to be just sausages and beer.
