One of the most interesting of which is a 4th-1st Century BC East Greek Hellenistic gold ring adorned with cabochon garnets. Alone, that ring has an estimated sale price of £3,500-£4,500 ($4,608-$5925).

That doesn't sound right. The jewelry store at the local mall has rings that cost more than that.
How could a gem encrusted gold ring, that is older than Jesus, not be worth more? Are they common somewhere?

You know, I was thinking the same thing. They really do sound undervalued for what they are ... historically if nothing else.
