He was an entertainer who happened to have wisdom to disseminate. As for any involvement he might have had with those programs, the development of those techniques was in response to another country making progress (supposedly) and this was part of balancing the power out.

But unless you buy into the whole Men Who Stare at Goats theme, it's just speculation.

this was part of balancing the power out.

I had never thought of it that way. Makes a lot of sense. Even though our programs may or may not have been created for ill-will, its a dumb move to let your enemies develop technologies that you have no control over. At the end of the day, I am very thankful I found this man. I bought a lot of his work from his son who maintains an online shop, and even years later I can hear his English voice peacefully rising through the fog of shit to give me sound advice.

His laugh alone was so wonderfully zen. Absolutely a man before his time.

I'd never thought to look to see if there was any store or anything that caters to his teachings, etc. Do you have a link?

It is run by his son Mark Watts. I haven't checked in a while, but back in 2012 he had a foundation setup that was building a museum/monument in his name. I think they were trying to have like a Japanese zen garden setup and a little shop there to buy merchandise.
