She ain't the boss of me. I will be on crutches when I head home. So, I will be able to get into the truck.
I will not be shoveling and I may not be fit for driving the tractor for a couple of months. But, I will smash snow. Oh, I will...
Sadly, I won't be able to get up into it, so tractorin' is out of the question for a while. Insurance is also going to keep me from doing anything at the farm for a few months.
But, smashing snow (in the truck) will be done.
I sure as shit can't shovel snow or anything like that. I can plow it. I will plow it. I will plow it even if the jarring impacts hurt. This is snow smashing, not something to be missed unless I am dead.
I am not kidding when I say I love smashing snow. It is like trying to master a new art and it is one of the most fun things I can think of. I am going to have to get someone else to get into the tractor, attach the backhoe, and load my sander with sand. I can't do that. The tractor is just too tall for me to get into.
Hmm... I need a step ladder. (I will just get someone at the farm to top me off with sand and then plow from there.) If I get stuck, which sometimes happens when you are smashing snow, someone will come yank me out. I just have to ensure I always remember to bring my cell phone.
Speaking of cell phones - I have no idea where mine is, nor does anyone else. It is probably in the wreck. So, I may need to get a new phone.
But will momma bear let you?-
