Been at it for about a year. I've grown a bunch too. I was filming with a dashcam and had that stacked on a pile of books on a chair in my living room initially. Now I got a nicer camera with a tripod and a mic and everything! Well background is still my extra room, but hey! It's something!

I love the man cave idea. I'm actually planning on moving this year and where I'm currently at, the man cave is more like a man hole (aka it's small). So I like the fireplace and bookshelf idea with the big nice chair. I never would have thought the book review would do well though. If you think it would, I'd definitely consider it. I just don't know how big of an audience I'd be hitting with that or not. It's just not a subject I've really dove into.

Well I did a search on youtube for coffee review I found these channels dedicated to coffee.

https://www.youtube.com/user/TopRatedCoffeeMaker1/videos

https://www.youtube.com/user/SeattleCoffeeGear/videos

The first channel has 1,000 subs the second channel has 60,000 which is a lot more.

I also did a search for book reviews I found these channels: https://www.youtube.com/user/ArielBissett/videos

https://www.youtube.com/user/hailsheartsnyc/videos

https://www.youtube.com/user/booksbetterthanfood/videos

Subscribers are 100,000, 80,000 and 10,000

So both niches are fairly small. But if you combine the two maybe you'll do really well?

I think it's worth a shot because you could also do book giveaways to your subscribers. Books are very cheap at Goodwill and thrift shops. Like 1$ each for decent books. You just pull off the goodwill sticker and after the review do a giveaway to grow the channel subscribers.

You could say "Like, share & subscribe to the channel for a chance to win this book". You'd just have to pay for shipping but overall you'd probably gain a ton of subscribers.

Honestly I might even do this it sounds pretty good. But I prefer to drink tea. So if I do it I'll just be drinking tea reviewing books.

Hmmm that's a good point. I do love good will too. I think that'd be a good monthly thing. I usually make videos once a week so I think that would be a good one to add to the list! Thanks for the idea!
