The last two sets of 10 were a pain. @smallpond @GoatsShadow hope its going well on your end.
Open arm squat? Is that just squatting with your arms held out?
My weight-training days are long behind me, but I keep some blubber off by cycling to work.

arms straight out front. adding 1 to 5 pound dumb bells makes it great for your core, which is that balance thing. My days are mostly too, I ripped my rotator cuff and do what I can. I used to bench 200-225 normally but I'm still trying to get back to it

yeah I can do 50 a set but today I destroyed my whole upper body... My food pic in s/whatsfordinner took 9 pictures because my arms are still shaking lol. I'm not even joking I can't do even 10 atm. and no worries, I'm glad we're all getting stronger. my goal is 1000 pushups in a day. I used to work out with firemen near the hall in my little town and it's completely possible, I've seen it.
edit: Subset your Chin ups with open arm squats, it'll help with your balance, especially if the chin-ups make you shake.
