I use the sea to summit long handled spoon when running away from home.

I found myself briefly wanting a long-handled spoon (a real stainless steel one, not some overpriced aluminum junk), but then the advertising witchcraft wore off.

This one is super nice for backpacking. I think it's worth the ten bucks. It's a light weight aluminum.
