Greetings my fellow shitposters, from the SDBH mod team:
Yesterday, a thread on our sub for the first time made it to the front of /r/all. As you might imagine this was great for our community, we hit 5000 subscribers yesterday.
But looking back, we asked ourselves, was this really as good as it could have been?
I'm sure all of you saw that our new visitors coming to this sub were beyond confused. They didn't know what was going on or what this sub is even about because they had to sift through endless shitposts.
This is something most of us are used to by now, but new people are completely unprepared and caught off guard.
In the spirit of changing this, we at the mod team have decided to limit shitposts to the weekends only, and they must be tagged as either [Shitpost Sunday] or [Shitpost Saturday]. All shitposts that do not have this tag for 5 minutes after being posted will be removed by Automoderator, and all shitposts that are posted on a weekday will be reported, reviewed by the mod team, and taken down if necessary.
TL;DR: Save your crap for the weekends. WEEKDAYS ARE FOR SERIOUS DISCUSSION ONLY.
These new rules will go into effect immediately after this post is up.

In my religion, Mondays through Fridays are weekends and Saturdays and Sundays are weekdays. Are you discriminating against my religion?
