Oscar wakes up 5 years later to see Sesame street has been totally taken over by Elmo, and we finally get to see his tragic backstory where Oscar's parents were meth dealers, who one day sent him to do a deal, but he forgot to take the money, so they threw him in the garbage where he's lived ever since. Big bird was like a father to him, and taught him basic life skills through musical numbers. Now Oscar is out for revenge.
