"Deci" is also "10" in metric, as well. "Decimeter" being 10 meters, for instance.
EDIT: Or am I mixing up "deci" and "deca"...?
Deca is ten, deci is 1/10 or 10% as far as math prefixes go :)
Makes sense. OK, I did mix them up. I don't really use metric except when playing Kerbal Space Program, so I'm a little rusty.
I've done a lot of biology type lab work so I've had to use metric a lot.
This is why you fucking use dictionairies and writers should have a degree in the Language they write in.
