You've honestly never rubbed one out while looking at that sculpture?

ever = of all time

sculpture of all time

Searching for "sculpture of all time" gives you the exact same results.

How does one quantify beauty though? By modern standards or ancient ones? Fat women were a worthwhile fetish when they were a novelty. Now we recognize these folks for what they are. Lazy. All I wanted to see was some intricate angles and contoured designs using hand tools of yesteryears. Instead I got a candidate for foot removal.

In the context of your original post, "beauty" does not enter into the search. You're using terms that the google search algorithm flags as answerable keywords, as evidenced by the embedded answer in your screenshot. Asking "what is beauty" in that context is futile because it was never considered in your search in the first place.

If you want to talk about beauty, try this on for size. Do a search for "egypt beautiful style". You'll get everything except the art period which you're referring to. The beautiful style was codified so that in order to be considered proper, it had to follow certain dimension ratios, had to have certain things, and never should have other things. Generally, what you think about as Egyptian art is the beautiful style.

In nature, beauty is evolutionarily wired to be symmetry as being unsymmetrical usually indicated a disease or poor health.

Other than that, beauty is in the eye of the beholder (or beer-holder, if you're in a bar). Trying to codify that and then use that code to point at something that doesn't seem right overlooks the basic fundamental concepts of psychology. A lot of people like yams, I can't stand them. It's not even close to appropriate for me to say that there's something wrong with all those other people because my brain says that yams are nasty. But people who like cilantro are positively apes and gorillas because that stuff tastes like soap.

Edit: look up Bernini and Pieta.
