I haven't seen Solo and don't have an interest in seeing because the trailer made it look awful to me. It looked too similar to the character development for Captain Kirk in the new Star Trek films. Why copycat that? Han Solo deserves to have his own original character development not something recycled from Star Trek.

Don't get me wrong. It wasn't a masterpiece. Solo did deserve better, however stacked up against the TLJ it was a much better film.

TLJ is definitely my least favorite of the Star Wars films because it didn't seem to do enough to advance the storyline for the trilogy. I think some parts of it were phenomenal as far as showing usages of the force that hadn't been seen before in the Star Wars films. Luke being able to project himself to another planet using the force was definitely something that hadn't been explored in the films or TV series and was a nice way to cement his place among the greatest Jedi. But to have Leia propel herself through space was too far fetched since there had been no references to her having any training to use the force. Hopefully the final one has better flow and ties up all the loose ends.

They need to let Dave Filoni be the creative director on these films because he is one of the few people who knows the Star Wars Universe as Lucas had intended.

So...Luke finally became as powerful as Dr. Venture's former tenant Dr. Orpheus? That's disappointing. I regretfully watched The Force Awakens and have not watched another Star Wars movie since. That saddens me greatly given how much of my life I've spent loving the original trilogy
