Hi guys,

I've noticed that a couple of my more recent posts on this sub have gotten more downvotes than upvotes, specifically regarding stuff about our websites. And I just thought I might ask, am I doing something wrong? If so, how can I improve?

Feel free to leave any feedback. And I promise that I will not delete any comments unless they violate the rules of Sandia Mesa's sub or the ToS of Phuks.

  1. My god, fix your sub's css. Seriously, dude.

  2. Nearly all of your posts are on your sub and are about your site. Since you are providing content that is pretty much just self-promotion, nearly all user content aggregate sites consider this spam. I seriously doubt that you are so new to teh interwebs that you don't know this already. I mean, you know CSS so you know how social media works and why you should post other content along with your self-promotion materials.

  1. Alright. Can understand that complaint about the CSS. Do you have any suggestions or ideas as to what parts of the sub's CSS/design that I could improve?
  2. You're right. I do think we should have more diversity in our content. I personally think I should post more content from other creators since I know a few, especially because we have "Creators & Self-Promotion" as a flair. And reflecting on Sr. Pelo's Bunty King meme that I posted on s/DankMemes, I think I should've kept it here when I initially posted it here (We have the "Memes & Shitposts" flair). I'll do better myself to have more diversity in the kinds of content I post here. Another issue with this sub right now is that we only have 4 subscribers. However, I think this can be improved if I start to initiate more variety in the content I post here.

Thank you for your feedback! :)

Don't do white text unless you're going to increase the font size (like my reply here). Your bright blue is bright. Like really bright. It decreases the contrast between the background and text and makes it more difficult to read.

There's nothing wrong with posting your own content but as @PhuksMulder said mix it up a bit.
