Hi guys,

I've noticed that a couple of my more recent posts on this sub have gotten more downvotes than upvotes, specifically regarding stuff about our websites. And I just thought I might ask, am I doing something wrong? If so, how can I improve?

Feel free to leave any feedback. And I promise that I will not delete any comments unless they violate the rules of Sandia Mesa's sub or the ToS of Phuks.

Also man just interact w/ other users. I'm too lazy to check your comment history but I'm guessing your rarely comment in other users threads. This community is so great b/c it's small. We disagree w/ each other and bust each others balls all the time. Even users I disagree w/ I tend to like. It's part of the intimacy and nuance of a small community.

I've actually interacted and commented on other posts fairly often. So, I'll try to have the same willingness to post varieties of content as I do to comment on others' posts.

I haven't seen you interact on others posts because I don't read all the comments on every thread. I do usually read every title though and upvote or downvote based on what I see from those. I generally follow the old voat rule of 50/50 content. Meaning you can advertise your site all you want if you also post something else unrelated to your site or "business" every other post. That's just me personally though. If I see you doing that I will stop slapping a downvote on your self posts and the name seanking2919 will no longer be associated with spam.
