Getting to orbit is still vary hard and heavy regulated internationally. Even Iran is announcing their launches so it doesn't trigger any ICBM retaliation strikes.
There also has been stupid stuff creating debris. Like China blowing up a satellite.

This worries me. With the ease of orbiting satellites, particularly from third part or worse, unregistered, space fairing groups.
Our chances of developing Kessler syndrome grows immensely.
And I for one would hate to know that were trapped on this planet for the foreseeable future.
