All during Trump's presidency, it was Obama's economy except after COVID hit then it was because Trump trashed the economy that was Obama's that was fine the whole time despite being trashed somehow because Obama did such a good job and Obama can do no wrong but now it's Biden's economy as soon as there was the slightest positive uptick even though it hasn't actually recovered (it's gotten worse) but it's somehow better than when Trump was in office and despite having 8+ months to ensure that Afghanistan was prepared for US withdrawal he screwed that up so thoroughly that it's now being compared to how much of a horrible failure Vietnam was but it's somehow Trump's fault despite Biden repeatedly telling reporters that no one would be airlifted out in order to ensure their safety during the exit.
AND IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL OF THIS, Republicans are stupid enough to pull down the web page that listed Trump's Taliban peace treaty despite the problem being Biden's fault.
On top of it all, Proud Boys held an antivaxx or antimask (whatever) rally doing an actual "anti-fascist" protest and Antifa shows up when they have absolutely no reason to be there and get their tails completely handed to them left, right, and center and somehow this is not Antifa's fault because Antifa somehow has more of a magical right to protest than some other group doing a protest that has nothing to do with their core mission statement. Antifa just showed up because they wanted to violently spread their message and you will comply or you will get seriously assaulted.
And add to this that Obama's birthday party has caused 70+ new infections and is now a super spreader event despite all of the attendees being vaccinated (because we know they would have been required to be vaccinated) but no democrat dares to mention this because, again, Obama can do no wrong.
Afghanistan could have been done better. Slow the Taliban down to cover the withdrawal, instead of depending on the notoriously unreliable and corrupt Afghan military. Remove the equipment instead of crippling it. Secure the Afghan weapon stockpiles, cause they certainly didn't sabotage that gear before running away.
Biden fumbled things badly, and the fact that he and the Press Secretary are vanishing doesn't improve things. But the Afghanistan withdrawal was always going to be ugly, because we've been milling around aimlessly for 15 years, nation-building for people that simply don't care.
But... It needed to happen. We're out. Its done. Good riddance to that waste of blood and money.
