I've seen this before.
The potential implications of state mandated mind control is disturbing to say the least.

This is not curing a disease or ailment. This is directly changing brain chemistry and thoughts to promote compliance.
I'd rather have the crime.

I think they used to call this ECT....of course it's all tidy and wrapped in a beribboned package called "brain stimulation"...I saw ECT in actual use once on a patient with bipolar disorder and psychotic component. The patient was extremely delusional; six rounds of ECT (electro-convulsive therapy) worked it's miracle. It knocked the sh*t out of the patient for a few days but when they "came back", the patient was appropriate, courteous and oriented to person place and time, free of delusions. A slippery slope.
