The previous laws were for companies with 50+ employees, but now very small businesses in California have to do this shit. Glad I'm leaving this state and shutting my business before this goes into effect

California Dental Association, really?

It's doubtful any dentist in the state ever had to comply with this before. They already have to go through enough continuing education and seminars for, you know, medical necessity. Forcing an entire medical field to now go through this new training regiment does significantly impact them.

Even small dental offices with 1 dentist will have to comply with this.

Anyways it was one of the better laid out articles I found on this.

Newly created businesses with five or more employees or contractors must provide training within six months of the business’ establishment and then every two years thereafter.

Part-time, temporary and independent contractors must be included toward the minimum count of five employees.
