AOC sounded more like she was trying to hide her New York accent than mimic another and somehow managed to create some sort of hybrid Northeastern/Midwestern accent. At least Hillary spent enough time in the South to actually pick up on the inflections of Southern accents (but an Arkansas accent is different from that of one from the Deep South). Hillary's problem is that she tries her fake Arkansas accent in places like Charleston, SC and anyone from the Deep South can tell it's fake.

I don't know who claimed that was a Southern accent but it wasn't. That was no where near a Southern accent. Hillary's attempt at a Southern accent is closer to the real thing than that was.
