But since the GOP won't impeach Trump, people want to conflate Trump with the GOP and consider everyone who has "wrongthink" as pariahs.

There is obvious overlap between Trump and the GOP, but I believe Trump is a third party candidate that hijacked the GOP platform to get elected. In the same vein that Ron Paul was more a libertarian that a Republican, but used the GOP to be a viable candidate.

We need to be careful on both sides and remain open to conversations about ideals we may disagree with. When I see 'wrongthink' it reminds me of Reddit where censorship or vote brigading is used to oppose alternate viewpoints. We see the media punish 'wrongthink' by how they form their coverage bias.

Trump used to be a democrat. That should explain a lot of what he does.

And Democrats used to be strongly anti-immigration too.
