Would Rodman be in violation if he actually did get Kim Jong Un to meet with Trump? I think there are more instances of people operating in the gray areas of the Logan Act than the general public know of and that it only becomes news when the news cycle is slower or someone wants their name in the news. Were Kerry's actions in violation of the law? Most likely but I don't think he'll be punished. I do agree with the opinion given that if the law isn't going to be enforced then it should be removed from the books.
