Anonymous White House official claims to be part of a resistance against Trump in NYT op-ed

This is some grade A bullshit.

The complaint is that Trump isn't a traditional Republican and that he changes his mind. There are no examples given of Trump endangering our democratic institutions, as is claimed to be a worry of this apparent cabal. But there is reason to believe that there is a conspiracy against the president and the will of the people, by unelected beaurocrates, if this anon op-ed is to be taken seriously.

On Russia, for instance, the president was reluctant to expel so many of Mr. Putin’s spies as punishment for the poisoning of a former Russian spy in Britain...

But his national security team knew better — such actions had to be taken, to hold Moscow accountable.

But, the author adds, things aren't that bad,

Don’t get me wrong. There are bright spots that the near-ceaseless negative coverage of the administration fails to capture: effective deregulation, historic tax reform, a more robust military and more.

Don't do us any favors. Say it in public. There is a constitutional process which this person is flaunting.

That's a strange way to spell "coward". Omarosa had no such hangups.
