Government owned Super markets? When did the feds buy them out? Please, spare me the BS. When you accept government assistance, it comes with strings. Since when is showing ID a burden to anyone? They need to show the same ID to receive the benefit in the first place. The law is in place to prevent fraud ... a common occurrence ... and your problem with that is?

you might show ID when you apply for welfare, but you do not need to show ID to buy food.
