Last year my company not only stopped recruiting events at "traditionally white male colleges" and instead focused their efforts on "traditional black colleges". They aim to stop the predominantly white and asian incoming engineers by enforcing standards that 25% of interns must be women and 25% must be URM ("Under Represented Minorities). This is at one of the largest tech companies in the US. I know because I was in meetings talking about this.
