The new world order. You get all the legal permits, peacefully assemble to speak, a crowd of double the size dressed in black, masked and armed arrives and the police shut you down. Those in black win by default, and though they mention a few (non-related) arrests, no one is even held to account for terrorist acts of violence. The left wins and is encouraged to do it again and again.
It says even the police were assaulted but no one was arrested in connection.
Eventually we may see some CCW holders get sick of it and kill some of these idiots in self defense. That could be the start of the new 'civil war' we keeping seeing stories about. Of course the media will have a field day spinning that against the 'evil fascists' open firing on 'harmless protesters'.
This happens in places where CCW isn't widely available. The whole root of gun control is to disarm the people so those so inclined can run roughshod over what have been protected rights. Not all of the anti-gun establishment thinks that, I'm sure, all is never the right answer ... but it is the underlying truth of the anti-gin agenda.
BTW, I think we are in the midst of a civil war now ... shots have been fired when Steve Scalise, and many other GOP congressmen, were fired upon in DC. That doesn't fit the media's anti-gun narrative though, so the story disappeared. Had it been the other direction politically, it would have been compared to Harper's Ferry. I don't see how we can avoid more bloodshed in the current climate. Media, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, and college campuses have been fanning the fire for quite some time now with no apparent interest in letting up.
