Well, given the current state of affairs...

I will concede that big media isn't much better than a comedy show.
That still doesn't elevate this to serious discussion.

comedians are considered more reliable as sources of news than many news channels

Also, the movement was started by a student, not a comedy channel, which was reporting on it for their own reasons.

The fact that shitty news services exist, does not suddenly elevate comedy to journalism. It being better than something even worse, does not mean it is good.
It is comedy. They are not even trying to give you a balanced or complete view.

It boggles my mind that you would even attempt to defend this as a legitimate source of political discourse.

however, sometime comics have more insight than actual journalist and commentators

such insights should be noted.
