Then what you're talking about has nothing to do with anything. Being well-paid does not have any relationship to being forced to treat someone in any measure.

I don't think doctors are forced to treat anyone, I think they are ethical professionals doing their job.

I'm not sure what you mean when you talk about doctors being forced to treat someone; can you give me an example?

What is the definition of socialism?

Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.

You cannot have the government in control of socialized medicine while allowing doctors the freedom to dictate how they run their practices. That is literally not socialized health care. It is capitalism. It is literally what we have right now.

Furthermore, in order to have socialized health care, everyone would need to have a fee or tax to subsidize the costs and I absolutely will never agree to pay for the health care for someone else's bad health choices. We all know soda is bad. So is smoking. Alcoholism. Drugs. The list is practically endless. But you're telling me that you want me to pay for someone else's bad choices. That I don't have a choice but to pay those taxes. I trade hours of my day for that money and there's a word for not getting paid for your time: slavery.

You have dodged the question and posted a link to a definition of socialism? I think most people already know what socialism means.

I understand that you don't like the idea of paying taxes for healthcare free at the point of delivery but you go on to blame people for getting sick. Plenty of people with healthy lifestyles get sick too.

This looks like political dogma Would you pay taxes for healthcare if it cost less than health insurance?
