For what it's worth I'd prefer it be legalized because I think then you can educate on it openly, loosen up law enforcement resources and also minimize young people's contact with people who would sell maybe harder drugs or other things. I'm not saying all weed dealers are bad but there's a small percentage who actively try to push other stuff onto people to try to get them hooked.
Also even though it's lot more potent it's still relatively harmless for most people in the short term.

No worries. It's totally true, I just feel it lacks context. Other drugs increasing in potency is a legit argument. But with a plant that has such a short life span thus faster breeding of traits, it's natural selection (well, artificial but whatever.)
