Regional Madrid head's resignation piles pressure on ruling PP

The head of the region of Madrid, Cristina Cifuentes, resigned on Wednesday after claims she had falsified her master’s degree and been caught shoplifting in 2011,

So the shoplifting thing apparently is fact. Maybe it was a legitimate error, whatever. It was a $40 thing, shit happens.

The masters degree dispute, though... they don't seem to say one way or the other what the truth is there.
