Comey said he did not remember “consciously thinking” about the election results as he decided to disclose that the FBI had reopened its investigation into candidate Clinton’s email use. But, he acknowledged, “I was operating in a world where Hillary Clinton was going to beat Donald Trump, and so I’m sure that it was a factor.”
Comey is such a piece of shit. There's no way he got to be head of the FBI without being competent enough to “consciously think" about the effects those actions would have on the election. And which way the election was going to go should have had no influence on any investigation. That he admits he was acting on an assumption of a Hillary win should be considered proof of professional misconduct.
I'm not defending Trumps unprofessional reaction, but Comey has shown himself to be unscrupulous and self-serving.
Bad-guys everywhere, but there are no good-guys to be found in any of it.
