I'm not sure what to make of this.
None of the actions the guy is accused of appear to be criminal. Crass, but legal.
The 'hostile workplace' bit is pretty vague. That could be HR-speak for 'made an SJW uncomfortable', or it could be something real.
From the article : "his office became a virtual bar as the liquor flowed freely and he donned a serape and sombrero or other costumes.", if that's the worst they can say about his character, I'm not seeing a monster.
Isn't the purpose of a Democracy to allow the people to choose any law abiding rep? Even if he is a douche?
I'm not sad to see him go. But I don't like how it was done. Vote him out, or charge him if he's done anything criminal.
But expulsion for 'wrongthink'? That just doesn't feel right, even if I agree that he has no place in modern politics.
