There were a few hours today when it was way too humid.

Ohh yeah that was my fault probably, I wanted to make it rain but I forgot to tweak some settings so it ended up being awfully humid for a while. I already pushed the patch to fix that but it might take a while to take effect

Thanks, we needed the rain even if it wasn't much.

Speak for yourself. Our rivers and creeks are bouncing between "flooded" and "about to flood" for the past couple months now.

I assume this is an invitation to start looking for shit to break indiscriminately

[–] Polsaker 1 points (+1|-0)

I'll give you a cookie if you find something broken

So far so good. What do you want us to look for, i.e. what did you change?

[–] Polsaker 0 points (+0|-0)

New update pushed (again). Rewrote a huge chunk of code, includes messages, comments and the user page mostly (plus some admin functions but nobody cares if those are broken, right?)

[–] pembo210 [OP] 0 points (+0|-0)

A lot of older stuff mostly. User profiles, sub management, mods invites/stuff, maybe the inbox. Refactoring it and cleanup. Getting rid of extra things being fetched that don't need to be. The main post pages "should" be ok.

[–] chmod 1 points (+1|-0)

Nothing inspires like an admin putting "should" in quotation marks.

I'll keep looking.

who needs QA when you have free users?

[–] Polsaker 1 points (+1|-0)

The mere thought of doing testing or any kind of QA scares me

[–] chmod 2 points (+2|-0)

Why, because anonymous, free users may throw a hissy?

Voat (before I ran away from that timebomb) would post new updates at dev.voat.co and invite us to test before doing major releases. May be a way to go, but doesn't sound like this was a major update. The first day I showed up here I said this site is buttery smooth. Still is.

We do use dev.phuks.co for testing major new features (currently the subdomain has a mobile site we're building)

Some of us actually give money to the guy that is likely Hitler's Argentinean kid via shirt purchases or crypto donations.

My up-phuks stick, but leaving and coming back to the page loses the visual representation that I previously upphuked something in the comments. Only issue I've seen so far

[–] ScorpioGlitch 2 points (+2|-0)

Eyelashes still getting in my eyes. When are you gonna fix that?

[–] Polsaker 1 points (+1|-0)

That patch was rejected by the ops team together with the fix for cancer. I think their reasoning was that humans are a legacy product and they only accept security patches now

[–] ScorpioGlitch 1 points (+1|-0)

Then why isn't "forgot why I walked into a room" fixed yet? That's definitely a security issue right there.

[–] Polsaker 0 points (+0|-0)

iirc that was some old code that somehow survived till the last release, I don't think they'll let me push that patch :/

!BUG FOUND! @pembo210

When I click on my username my profile comes up listing the subs I own and mod. When I click on any of these from my profile I am sent to https://phuks.co/s/ for all, not the sub.

I want a debugging badge and a bowl of ice cream.
