I’ve read the requirements and I realize that it requires Python and Python libraries. So if my shared hosting environment supports Python, Phuks should be usable on it? I see NodeJS in the install docs but don’t know if it’s required for the live site.

Nodejs is required, python and some libraries are required too so I find it unlikely that this site will run on a shared hosting.

@pembo210 was working on a PHP frontend for phuks that would actually work on shared hosting, but that one just grabs all the data from the Phuks API, so it would essentially be just a frontend for Phuks and not a different site.

Thanks, I understand that shared hosting is not usually optimal for many scalable websites anyway. I’ll loook into some hosts that support NodeJS. Thanks again!

A VPS running Debian or any derivative should work OK. The cheaper ones with 512MB or 1GB of ram should be more than enough for a small site
