If I close my browser after having logged in without "being remembered," reopen and come to phuks, it shows me as logged out. But go to /new and I'm logged in. But not really. I can't do anything that requires being logged in except logging out and even then if I go back to new, there's my username in the upper right again.

Yeah, all actions check if you're logged in or not. This may be a cache issue.. @polsaker
