The only way to currently fix design issues on mobile would be to alter the desktop site, which is not really viable, hence the mobile site.
I am currently using mobile and I agree that mobile is cancer at the moment.

It's mobile. There is a complete redesign for mobile going on so it's pointless to try and alter the current layout to fix stuff like this.
