China is a world leader in currency manipulation, but they use that to buy extrodinary amounts of land, ports and mines. We're wasting our currency manipulation on paying people to stop working and collect government welfare.
It almost seems like this was planned.

Yup. In a way, it's a repeating of the Indians selling their land in treaties for beads and blankets.
The Chinese buy up real estate, infrastructure, and educate their population in STEM. We are busy crippling our next generation with debt to be indoctrinated at university about the 55 genders.

Other countries don't get the use the printer trick as much as the US though. At some point other countries will wonder why they're doing real labor and sending tangible products of real value to the US consumers when all they're getting in return are worthless pieces of paper--er not even that, zeros and ones in a bank's computer database--that are clearly rapidly inflating away to worthlessness and being created out of thin air. It will be a nasty day when America's "exorbitant privilege" ends.
