It's a shame that I can't track down the clip of the Futurama crew playing D&D with Gary Gygax for the rest of all eternity.

I have currently no plans to, especially as I sit in a terrible time zone (Central European Time) for playing in real-time a pre-dominately American game.
From my experience with PBPs I'd pick a different game than D&D - one that doesn't slow down as heavily once combat breaks out and can resolve large chunks of action in a few posts and dice rolls.
I've made great experiences with The Shadow Of Yesterday, and with a pal's homebrew that was specifically designed for the PbP format.
