My subscriptions have been completely neglected because I'm still browsing /s/all/new. Though with the increase in activity around here lately, that's becoming less practical.
That's good, right - LOL. I'm actually new around here more or less. But have liked it a lot so far. I post a lot on the goat site, but that place gets old sometimes and I need some sanity, kinda think I found it here.
It's good - there's still a good mix of posters and it's nice to see pace slowing increasing.
Everyone's (relatively) sane at the moment with Phuks being such a small community - I think we're approaching a sweet spot in that respect. Of course if/when it gets a lot bigger everyone will turn into rabid animals, and we'll get to see how the place holds up under stress.
So true. I hope it stays this way as long as possible though. It is a decent experience without the BS of other similar platforms.
Awesome, I've wanted an archeology/paleontology sub for awhile but knew I'd never have time to manage one. Thanks!
Not much to running it, I'm one of those laid back mod types that pretty much lets the thing run itself. Me, I just read a lot of this kind of stuff and share it, and it didn't feel right putting them in the broader science or history subs, so I figured what the heck. I'm no expert in any of those fields though. Just an avid reader and a little brushes off here and there.
Wanna be a mod, be glad to add ya.
Welcome to Archeology and Antiquities on Phuks aka s/Archeology. I created the sub as a place to post anything relevant to the stories of the Earth's ancient past. It's not meant to step on either s/History or s/Science, but rather as an alternative sub for those links and discussions that don't quite fit either of those subs comfortably. So be it an archeology, paleontology, anthropology, ancient text or civilization, or even a dinosaur and fossil link or discussion you wish to share, feel free to post here. Drop by and subscribe/post today!
