I recently got one of those flat hoses w/ the pinholes all along it. Everything in my backyard is looking good after like 5 minutes a day watering. I live in a pretty good climate I guess. My herb garden is flourishing.

yeah, those soaker hoses are great. I have a few for the hedges and the garden.

Looks like you should start using it. My basil has all taken and is starting to grow :) Its about twice the size now, like a hand tall.
